My Fave Tech Tools

Starting your online fitness or health business can feel overwhelming, so I've laid out my fave tech tools that help to speed up tasks, and make running the online part of your biz easy breezy.

Trust me, I've tried them all (so you don't have to) and these are the ones that I know and love and still use in my online business now, or recommend to students.

Some of this tech tools, but not all, of the links on this post are affiliate links, and I'll get a small commission from them, but I only ever recommend tools that I love and use myself.

(By far and away my FAVE tech tool is Kajabi, which is the all in one solution I recommend to my clients. Often it's cheaper to pay for one tool, rather than string a lot of cheaper ones together and Kajabi will do most of what you need to start out. Get a 14 Day Trial of Kajabi for free here

STARTING OUT

Leadpages

I love Leadpages! If you have no website you can use Leadpages to start collecting email addresses, selling your programs and taking payments. There's even a new website function that's new but worth a look.

ConvertKit

A great starter-level email service provider that does everything a more expensive platform can. Collect emails, send promotions, manage your contacts and create automated marketing campaigns.

ActiveCampaign

A more advanced CRM and email service provider, ActiveCampaign is what I've used for over 5 years for my email service provider. Not the cheapest but great if you're growing your business.

Zapier

Connect all your apps together and create an automated business using Zapier. Want a payment in Paypal to automatically add a member to your email list and send an email? You can do that with Zapier..and tons more.

Google Drive

I can't live without Google Suite and the storage function that comes with Drive. I use it to share documents with my team and keep my work mobile so wherever I go, I can access everything in one place.

Dropbox

A bit like Google Drive, but not exactly – Dropbox is another great place to store files in the cloud.

ThriveCart

Getting a checkout system that works online sounds easy, but it isn't! Thrivecart changes this by creating checkout pages and experiences that help you close more sales with your programs. I use it to maximise sales and take payments online or over the phone.

Samcart

Another payment software that's really popular, Samcart – similar to Thrivecart, you don't need both.

PROGRAM DELIVERY

Kajabi

Kajabi is the best all-in-one solution I've found so far. It's not perfect, no platform is, but whether it's a membership site, premium program or course, I can host it on Kajabi. PLUS…Kajabi can create landing pages and handle my email and website and blog too. Neat! I personally use Kajabi for all my online programs now.

Teachable

Another online program provider that's a little cheaper than Kajabi. I recommend this for smaller courses or BETA programs, when you're not yet ready to invest in Kajabi yet.

Vidapp

Want your own app? When I created CORIO's online program, we went to Vidapp and they build an easy to manage app that pulled our videos from Youtube and Kajabi directly. I can't get enough of this platform!

VHX.TV

Ideal for creators who want a membership site. I haven't used VHX (part of Vimeo) myself, because it's only available in limited countries, but countless big names are putting their subscription services onto it, so I do recommend checking it out if you're thinking about a low cost membership.

DESIGN & EDITING

Canva

I can't live without Canva. If you're not a designer, this free online tool makes graphics, slideshows, pdf's and even logos easy and professional.

Camtasia

This video editing and recording software is the real deal! It's a bit pricey if you're starting out, but a great option to upgrade to. Not as techy as Final Cut Pro (which is probably a great choice too), I like Camtasia for how easy it is to create recordings with voice overs.

Creative Market

If I want something to look original and cool, I head to creative Market and get a template! Everything design that you need to stand out online, from freebie templates to workbook templates to 5 day challenge templates.

Fiverr.com

Get your life back by outsourcing those niggly tasks that aren't your super power anyway. Fiverr.com is a bit of a minefield to navigate, but you can find very quick and capable people to edit your videos, create graphics, or manage your blog etc all for a small fee.

SOCIAL MEDIA & CONTENT

Later

If you're like me and don't love being on social media all of the time, or just want way to plan your social posts in advance, Later is your tool! You can pre-plan Facebook, IG and stories all in one place.

Healthinomics

Another option for social media creation and done-for-you content, this website offers fitness and health specific content bundles for a low monthly fee, so always have something to share on social!
